Overview

Background

The customer wanted to update their old website to appeal to younger people in their new market of Canada. Throughout this project, my key responsibilities included working with stakeholders to build the project plan and creating user interface components and graphic elements.

Outcome

The new design of B.b.q chicken website has been implemented and now live!

Timeline and Process for the Project

Meet with Clients

To begin the project, an initial meeting was scheduled to discuss their needs, objectives, and design preferences. This was the first step in understanding and visualizing their expectations for the project.

Research the Market

According to the client's specifications, I conducted extensive market research on various competitors. Through collaboration with a senior designer and careful consideration of feedback, I generated diverse mood boards to ensure that the design aligns with the client's desired outcomes.

Concept Development

Using the information gathered, initial drafts for the new design interface and graphic elements were created and shared with clients and developers. The feedback from both sides helped me in going through iterative conversations to ensure it aligned with the client's vision.

Final Round

Documentation and Handoff

After the design revisions are completed and approved by client team, I documented the design handoff with specifics of the UI components and assets and delivered it to the development team for implementation.

I also had a blast crafting graphic elements as it provided me with the opportunity to explore exciting and experiment with spontaneous ideas.
